Paris, today. A child and his young mother sleep in the streets. Nina doesn't have a job, or any ties. Enzo is five years old. Their wandering takes them to the Chateau of Versailles.In the woods, very near the chateau, Damien lives in makeshift lodgings, withdrawn and hidden away from the world. Nina spends a night with him. In the early morning, Nina leaves her child and disappears. When Damien wakes up, he discovers Enzo all alone.During the days, the seasons, the man and child get to know each other, learn how to deal with each other, grow attached to one another. Their bond will be stronger than their destitution.One day, however, they must leave their improvised home in the woods. After studying cinema at the Ecole Louis Lumiere Pierre Schoeller mainly concentrated on scriot writing for television and cinema. Menawhile, in 1992, he directed the short film Deux amis, Prelude, then continued directing in 2003 with his first feature film, Zero defaut, a musical based on the world of workers. In 2008, he directed Guillaume Depardieu, Aure Attika andt Judith Chemla in Versailles, a film on precariousness set in the surroundings of the famous French castle Versailles.
